About Our Library
Green Valley High School is home to a nationally recognized library, and librarian. Mrs. Montoya was hired as a librarian the same year she won the coveted Milken National Educator Award. After receiving numerous grants for technology, including the prestigious TIIAP grant for close to $100,000, the library become the premiere school in its use of computer-based research. For this is was recognized by the library industry by being awarded Follett's National Technology Award. The library has continued to maintain this status throughout its existence.

In keeping with the school's commitment to excellence, the reference materials are extensive, as well as available to students and their families at all times.

While the major emphasis is on research, the library promotes recreational reading by providing high quality Young Adult titles and offers on-going reading incentive programs. Green Valley High School students have won great prizes for reading great books!

Online Research
The library staff has amassed a large variety of online resources and databases that make research quicker and more efficient.
Library Help Desk
Students may visit the library at any time and find our Librarian, Volunteer Staff and Students to assist in finding information.
